Format of Presentation Experience in PRSP monitoring (2003-05) Monitoring PRSP (2006-2010) Challenges

Experience in PRSP monitoring (2003-2005) Parallel report on 2003 by organizing meeting and inputs from sectoral NGOs NGO Statement to CG Meeting 2004, with inputs from sectoral NGOs Quarterly NGO Statement on the Monitoring of 2005 CG Indicators with inputs from NGOs inside and outside the Technical Working Groups (TWGs) 2005 HH Survey in 40 villages with focus on food security and infrastructure development

Monitoring PRSP (NSDP 2006-2010) Co-ordination of inputs from sectoral NGOs involved in TWGs and produce quarterly Statement on the progress of the CG-JMIs Organize local consultation in different regions to collect views from grassroots and produce a report on the monitoring of the PRSP (NSDP)

Technical Working Groups Total 18 TWGs 12 have CSO participation NGO Forum aims to help improve the participation of CSOs in the TWGs. TWGs are main mechanism for NSDP monitoring!! NGO views will be consolidated in parallel report on NSDP implementation. Note 1: Technical Working Groups are ………………. Note 3: NGOF is currently talking to NGOs that are interested to participate in the TWGs. Furthermore discussions will be held with Government representatives and co-facilitators in the TWGs from the donor community. Note 5: The report will only address the issues where the NGOs are active. For example it is unlikely to include an analysis of the macroeconomic framework.
