Interdisciplinary groups of students learned about climate change, governance, ecological economics, sustainable construction and energy as well as social-ecological policies. Further, all participants developed and implemented sustainable service learning projects in the context of the course´s focus: XYZ. For the first time the main universities of city/region XY worked together towards the goals within the United Nations Decade on Education for Sustainable Development.
