Data Security [Example content to include] Procedures for collecting and uploading data, including storage of hard-copy notes and printed reports Policies for taking and using photographs and video Password protections and other security measures in place for technology Information about who has access to electronic child data How information will be used and shared with parents, administrators, and other teachers Note to Trainers: Teacher using this assessment will be collecting data about the children in their classes. The training should include information and considerations in managing these data, consistent with your state, district, and school policies. This slide will need to be customized for your state/district/school and be inclusive of any additional data security measures agreed upon by the technology vendor.

Action planning Note to Trainer: This is an additional activity that may be done at the end of training. There is an accompanying handout, “Next Steps Action Plan.”

Action Plan Purpose: Use the information and strategies you’ve learned over the past two days to create an action plan for next steps you can take to incorporate this assessment into your classroom routine. Directions: Look over your grade-level options on the “Field Test Clustering Options & Calendar” document and decide which cluster of constructs you want to begin assessing. Select one construct in your chosen cluster to focus on first. Watch the module for that construct. Review the assessment materials for that construct and complete the form This slide assumes that teachers are planning on using clustering to help manage the content. If not, teachers can get started by selecting a domain they would like to work with first and a construct within that domain.
