Cleopatra Alexander the Great – Egypt given to the general Ptolemy. Father of Cleopatra is Ptolemy XII. 51 BCE - Throne left to her (18) and her younger brother (10). 48 BCE – after fleeing from her brother, returns with army. 47 BCE – Ptolemy XIII kills Pompey to please Caesar…backfire. Caesar falls in love with Cleopatra. Later Ptolemy XIII drowns in the Nile after losing power to C and C. 46 BCE – gives birth to Caesar's son. 44 BCE – Caesar is murdered in Rome.

Death of Cleopatra Becomes lover of Marc Antony (supporter of Caesar) 44 BC - Antony joins  Marcus Aemilius Lepidus, another of Caesar's generals, and Octavian, Caesar's nephew and adopted son ( Second Triumvirate). 42 BCE - The Triumvirs defeated Caesar's murderers and divided the government of the Republic between themselves.
