What holidays do they celebrate in Cambodia? Bonn Om Teuk, or water festival, is celebrated in November at the end of the rainy season when the water of the Mekong River begins to recede (or decrease). Cambodians hold rowing races on the river during the festival.

What types of animals are in Cambodia? The kouprey, a wild forest cow, is known for its long, curbing horns. This is one of the rarest animals in the world. The kouprey is Cambodia’s national animal.

Asian elephants are also found in Cambodia Asian elephants are also found in Cambodia. The elephants like to live in forest areas and grasslands that are located near water.
