Inside Out Anger

Bad Choices! Uses Hurtful Words Body out of control Destroys things

Go to Your BIRDS NEST “I am mad… I need to take a break”

BALLOON BIRD BREATHING Take 3 deep breaths RELAX YOUR BODY!

Stop and Think Bad choices have consequences: 1. Hurt friends feelings Just like a boomerang comes flying back, your choices will come back and affect you. Bad choices have consequences: 1. Hurt friends feelings 2. Get you in trouble Ex: If you call a friend a name, they might not want to play with you anymore.

USE YOUR WORDS… use your body when you are angry 1. Use Your Words: Mama Bird: Matilda USE YOUR WORDS… NEVER…NEVER…NEVER use your body when you are angry 1. Use Your Words: “PLEASE STOP_______. I don’t like it when you do it. ” 2. Walk away from that person or situation 3. Ask a teacher for help
