Fun facts Pelargoniums are also known as storksbills and geraniums. The word stork in Greek is pelars. The colours are white, cream, pink, mauve, purple, orange and red. They are evergreen and can survive in drought. Most of the petals and leaves can be eaten and are sometimes used in desserts.
