Discussions The default settings for discussions are to only allow teachers to create discussion topics and allow for students to use plain text only. The following optional settings are available: Allow students to post topics to the discussion board allows students to create discussion topics. Allow student attachments in discussion board posts allows students to attach files to their discussion posts. Allow student rich text in discussion board posts provides students with a rich text editor they can utilize when posting to the discussion board.
Turn-Ins Once you assign a score, the student will no longer be able to submit any additional items for that turn-in, even if the turn-in has not been closed. However, if you assign an M to denote a missing assignment, the student will still be able to provide a submission. Parents can view and respond to comments made on turn-in assignments.
