The End of the School Day Preparing to go home by Rhiannon C. Morgret
My school day is almost over. When the clock says 1:40, I have ten minutes to finish what I am doing. If I need more than ten minutes to finish, I will put it away until tomorrow.
I need to clean my area for tomorrow. Throw away my garbage. Put my pencils and crayons in their bin. Push my chair in under my desk. Turn off the light.
I have to make sure I have everything I need from my locker. My checklist for my backpack: lunchbox homework papers for mom my hat
Now, I can sit and watch for my bus from the window. I like to wait for my bus in the cafeteria. I love to look out the window at the cars driving by.
It is time to get on the bus. When I see the numbers 167 on the side of the bus, I can leave the cafeteria and walk to my bus. I always remember to take my backpack.
See You Tomorrow!!
