Synthesizer principle (Based on AM²P/BEPI-COLOMBO) command MEFISTO digital signal generator (sweden) synthesizer control electric antenna (japan) clock synchronous acquisition CPU signal analyser (FFT, phase…) signal acquisition (japan) (japan)
Important inputs for synthesizer The following elements can have a big impact on synthesizer design: Who needs waveform generation (for calibration and/or for measurement). Frequency bandwidth: Fmin / Fmax. Frequency steps (∆F) and duration. Sinwave or other shapes (triangle, ramps…) ? Sweep or emission occurrence. Analog interfaces (number, level, impedance…). Synchronous emission/acquisition (absolute phase information). Will you need specific control of synthesizer ? (control frequency step, amplitude modulation…). Level of design integration.
Resources for BEPI (synthesizer only) Mass: AM²P-E mass : 250 g (A5 size board without frame) Power: Need to have more inputs BEPI: <1W max.
