Background of Tribal Transportation Planning Workshop Since 1997, Arizona Department of Transportation has assisted Arizona’s Tribal communities to complete numerous planning studies. To better help Tribal community representatives understand the steps to implement these plan recommendations, ADOT developed a training program to guide users through the planning and project development process.
