Lines connecting boundaries that separate one area from another. Contour Lines Lines connecting boundaries that separate one area from another. Outline only.

*Outline of a shape,usually a profile Silhouette *Outline of a shape,usually a profile portrait, filled with a solid color.

Diagonal *Lines that slant. Signal action and excitement.
