Let Us ..

Tower of Babel Gen.11:1-9 1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.

4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5 And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6 And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

These people did not want to do what God said! God was their God. God had told them to ..scatter, and replenish the earth.

Let us …throw off everything that hinders us from serving God Gal. 5:7 Ye did run well, who did hinder You from obeying the truth? People can hinder us…or help us.ICor15:33 Things can hinder us …or help usIJohn2:15-17

Let us - Walk in the light I John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Know the Word John 8:32 Stay in the Word I Cor. 15:58 John Schaffer -

These people in Gen. 11 needed God..but didn’t Want to do His Will. Are we like that? 2 Tim.3:16,17 I Pet.4:11

Let us – Go on to Maturity 2 Pet. 3:18 But grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Let us - Help each other Gal. 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, Especially unto them who are of the household of faith. We see that at O’Neal. Matt.7:11 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:for this is the law and the prophets.

Many of God’s people are hurting. Some from sickness of the body, some from sickness of the soul.. Some from family problems, some from financial problems, some from personal sins and sins from others in Their families. Gal. 6:2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill The law of Christ!.

Let us: not forsake the assembling .

Heb. 10:23-25 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering: (for he is faithful that Promised;) and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, (some were doing that) as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Where do we find That exhortation: in the assemblies!!!)

Let us : be about the Master’s Business. John 9:4 Start by obeying Him. Keep working each day. What a reward is forthcoming to All those in the Lord. Rev.14:13
