What is Ultimate Frisbee? The Mission of the Lakeville South Ultimate program is to promote the sport of Ultimate Frisbee at Lakeville South High School by teaching the rules of Ultimate, continually demonstrating Spirit of the Game, and participating in the USA Ultimate-Sanctioned Minnesota High School Ultimate League “Player defined and controlled non-contact team sport played with a flying disc on a playing surface with end zones in which all actions are governed by the ‘Spirit of the Game’

What is Spirit of the Game? Spirit of the Game. Ultimate relies upon a spirit of sportsmanship that places the responsibility for fair play on the player. Highly competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of mutual respect among competitors, adherence to the agreed upon rules, or the basic joy of play. Protection of these vital elements serves to eliminate unsportsmanlike conduct from the Ultimate field. Such actions as taunting opposing players, dangerous aggression, belligerent intimidation, intentional infractions, or other ‘win-at-all-costs’ behavior are contrary to the Spirit of the Game and must be avoided by all players” – (USA Ultimate/ 11th Edition Rules)

Important Dates for the Season Players Meeting – Today First week of practice starts March 19th– Weather permitting we will be at Lakeville South High School. Practices will be held 5:00-7:00 Monday-Thursday until games begin (then M-W). Varsity first game – April 5th Tournaments – White Bear Lake Matoska Classic April 28 - 29 and Hopkins Hustle Tournament May 12-13 State Tournament – June 2nd- June 3rd
