Semifinalists Apply to Become Finalists by Submitting a Substantial Online Application Requirements to move forward to Finalist Continue to meet program entry requirements U.S. Citizen or legal resident Fully endorsed by school principal Consistent record of high academic performance Complete the NMSC application (including activities, essay, and teacher recommendation) Take the SAT to confirm the score
The PSAT Will Be Administered to All HCS Sophomores and Juniors October 19, 2016 PSAT/NMSQT- Preliminary SAT and National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test PSAT data will be used to identify and support rising Juniors who may enter National Merit Competition Juniors must take the PSAT to enter National Merit Competition during Senior year
