Career Development Services BulldogCareers Career Development Services 101 Patton Hall aamu.edu/cds 256.372.5692 Mon-Fri | 8a - 5p Helping Bulldogs Prepare for Professional Success

BulldogCareers BulldogCareers is web-based events and recruitment management system exclusively available for registered AAMU students and graduates.

CDS post events and on-campus interviews within the database. BulldogCareers Students create a profile, upload a resume and other employment related documents. Employers post full-time, part-time jobs, co-ops, internships and volunteer opportunities. Positions are posted on a daily basis. CDS post events and on-campus interviews within the database.

Student Registration STEP 1 Pay a 1x fee of $25 to the cashier’s office or online: aamu.afford.com & provide a copy of the receipt to the CDS office for payment verification. Complete a registration form in Patton Hall, 101 in order to receive a username to create a BulldogCareers’ account. Visit BulldogCareers: myinterfase.com/aamu/student to activate and create your account.

My Account: Creating an Account You will need your username to complete the profile A username is generated and issued by the CDS office once the registration form has been completed

My Account: My Profile Complete the registration form-filling in all required fields and hit "submit“

My Account: My Documents Once you have completed your profile upload your resume browse to find your document

BulldogCareers All resumes have a Pending-Resume Revisions status until they are approved. Once you have uploaded your resume contact the CDS office to schedule an appointment to review your resume with a career counselor (part of the resume approval process/Step 3). Complete the first 3 steps to complete the registration process for graduation. Complete step 4 to be fully approved. This makes you eligible for on-campus interviews

On-Campus Recruitment Students that have completed Steps 1-4 are eligible to participate in on-campus interviews Students with completed profiles will be able to view open interview schedules from the BulldogsCareers’ toolbar Only students that meet the criteria (gpa/major/ classification) identified by the employer are eligible to sign up for the interview from their profile

On Campus Interview Schedules The demographic data(GPA, major, classification etc) contained in a student’s profile will determine if they meet employer’s the criteria to participate in the employer’s on campus interviews. If a student qualifies they may sign up for the interview
