OBD TF Goal agreed at 1st OBD TF Develop harmonized OBD GTR by end of 2018*. *Approved on Oct. 2018 IWG and Jan. 2019 GRPE No Contracting Party option. (only alternative) Create separate GTR for now. *This was recommended by GRPE

Status Task force established with 26 members. The 1st Task Force Web meeting was held on 15th Dec. Agreed to discuss based on R83. Next action is to pick up points which need to be changed based on R83 text and make discussion points. The potential discussion points raised at 1st Task Force: Add HEV and PHEV requirements (e.g. IUPR relief) Clean up and reconstruction of R83 Ensure compatibility to old requirement Clarification of current R83 requirements (e.g. evaluate IUPR as fleet, not as individual vehicle)
