RI.03 - Analyze how the author unfolds an analysis or a series of ideas or events, including the order in which the points are made, how they are introduced and developed, and the connections that are drawn between them.

What is the big idea of this standard? An author organizes material strategically in order to communicate his or her intent.

What are the essential questions for this standard? What is organization? How do authors use organization to effectively communicate their ideas? What are the different kinds of organizational structures that authors commonly use?
