I’m planning to drive my car to campus. Where should I park? In lots marked Zone “A” In lots marked Zone “B” In lots marked Zone “C” Clicking “Zone A” links to the parking services website. You can talk about some of the links on the side, especially showing the campus parking map. You also will need to let students know that they should register every car they may be taking to campus. They will receive a hang-tag permit in the mail, or can choose to pick it up at the Parking Services building (located near the lot the parked in today). They have already paid for parking in their University fees.

I don’t have a car, so how do I get to UMBC? Hitchhike MTA, UMBC Shuttles, Carpool You Can’t “MTA…” links to the Transit site. Show them where to download a Transit bus schedule, show them the Transit-Tracker tool. Mention that these buses are free for UMBC students and 1 additional guest, you just need to show your Red Card. A new bus will be going down-town in the fall. Also mention that MTA buses stop at UMBC, and students can buy a discounted monthly bus pass in our office for just $39. Our office also helps students arrange carpools (you can go back to myUMBC to show them the Casual Carpooling group).
