Introducing Robert Frost Date:

“Two roads diverged in a wood and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference”. Frost poetry is said to appeal to a younger audience. Does this quote about choices appeal to you. Points to consider Who When Why Where What How 2-3 sentences please.

Robert Frost (1874 – 1963) was an American poet whose work remains as relevant to us today as when it was written. His figurative language leaves open many possibilities and interpretations; making it multi-layered much like a person. Many of his poems are about people finding their own way and breaking down traditions or expectations.

Much of his poetry is about isolation and depression in urban life. I see, I think, I feel. Write one sentence beginning with each of the following.

The poetry of Robert Frost is so memorable because he uses accessible language and explores relevant themes which still hold significance for a modern day reader. He writes about nature, not merely for itself, but moreover for the insights it can give us into the human experience. It can also be a celebration of life and nature and the unity therein.
