Food Energy Consumers – organisms that can’t make their own food Herbivores – eat producers Omnivores – eat producers and consumers Carnivores – eat herbivores, omnivores, and other carnivores Detritivores – consume the bodies of dead organisms and wastes produced by living organisms Decomposers – microscopic detritivores
