Proposed Transition Structure SUNY BoTs SUNY Chancellor AU BoTs SUNY COO Council will be composed of all Vice Presidents, and faculty and staff leadership. It may develop, as needed, task forces to work on highly specific problems. The Council will develop implementation strategy and schedules. The Council should exist for no more than five years. *President is appointed by AU Trustees and represents the institution at SUNY presidents’ functions. **Appointed by the President and confirmed by the SUNY Trustees as unit heads of statutory colleges. Employee of the State, as are all who report here. They participate in SUNY academic and administrative functions, as necessary. ***Responsible for recruitment policies and programs for all colleges. ****Same as **; but, an AU employee.
