Types of energy By: Brian Jome

Mechanical Energy The form of energy associated with the position and motion of an project is mechanical energy. Throwing a football. Throwing a baseball

Mechanical Energy

Thermal Energy The total potential and kinetic energy of the particles in an objects. Things that get very hot.

Thermal Energy

Electrical Energy The energy of an electric charge. When lightning sticks is an example.

Electrical Energy

Chemical Energy Potential energy stored in the chemical bond that hold chemical compound together. After eating grapes your body can use the energy.

Chemical Energy

Nuclear Energy The potential energy stored in the nucleus of an atoms. The Sun is nuclear energy.

Nuclear Energy

Electromagnetic Energy The energy of light and other forms of radiation.
