Set on a Tuesday and collected on the following Monday. Stories from other cultures – reading The Pearl Dive. Discussing differences between the story and modern stories. Writing our own version, set in another culture. Swimming Netball Digital Literacy and ICT Searching for specific images/content linked to theme. Recounts – analysing features of recounts and then writing a recount about our visit to Hampton Court. PE Living things and their habitats – describing the differences in the life cycles of a mammal, an amphibian, an insect and a bird. Describing the life process of reproduction in plants and animals. English ICT Science Year 5 Strictly Come Tudor Research in books, on iPads and on the internet, write a page from a health magazine, analyse portraits, write a lonely hearts ad for Henry VIII.
