WHAT IS A SHARED UNDERSTANDING? Shared understanding refers to language, knowledge, and practices that are collectively agreed upon, accepted,and implemented by a particular group.

WHY IS A SHARED UNDERSTANDING IMPORTANT at HMS? Not communicating the same expectations and goals to all stakeholders Impacts the overall ability to increase student achievement
