BHQIP overview Designed for behavioral health (BH) providers Community mental health centers (CMHCs) Community service boards (CSBs) Other high-volume BH providers Uses visit-based member attribution methodology Consists of quality performance indicators (efficiency and quality of care) Rewards both absolute performance targets and year-over-year improvement Includes a year-end bonus incentive driven by performance indicators Provider group must have at least 100 attributed members.

BHQIP Reporting and Tools Reporting/payment Interim reports Mid-year BHQIP performance scorecard Yearly reports End-of-year BHQIP performance scorecard Detailed quarterly review all of metrics Monthly visits from Behavioral Health representatives Dedicated clinical team member Three Behavioral Health PR Representatives One for each geographic area (North/Central/South)

2016 BHQIP Payout Summary 10 CMHC’s in BHQIP in 2016 Payout in June 2017 totaled $238,755.91. 11 CMHC’s in BHQIP for 2017 Payout to occur in June of 2018.
