Using Technology to Protest the 2012-2013 School Lunch Program Finding Our Voice Using Technology to Protest the 2012-2013 School Lunch Program

The HUNGER Games: A Parody of the 2012 School Lunch Program Timeline: Student came up with idea September 27 after seeing Wallace County’s video. Filming started October 1, video posted to YouTube October 3. Video views hit 3575 within 24 hours.

Equipment Used JVC (hard drive) and Canon (mini DV tape) video cameras Rolling tri-pod Lift iMac and iMovie

Logistics All students had to have a signed release from parents. Worked with sophomore Advanced English and Personal Finance and Multi-Media classes for script and main characters.
