Brooktherm Refrigeration Ltd was formed in January 1999 and is a family run business. The company is based in Birkenhead (Wirral) ideally situated for access to the motorway system. We operate from a 5,000sq/ft office and workshop facility, purpose built to accommodate our requirements. Our current staffing level is 49 employees across the various sectors of our business. We currently employ 19 Time served Refrigeration Engineers. Our current engineer training programme includes for 7 apprentice engineers. All our Engineering team are certified for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of heavy commercial, industrial and air conditioning refrigeration plants. All our Engineering team are issued with PPE in accordance with current legislation for safe working at client site. Continuous training is provided to our engineering staff regarding Health & Safety requirements at sites in accordance with current requirements. Our Engineering team vehicles are equipped with necessary service tools and equipment to respond effectively to clients needs. Brooktherm Refrigeration have worked in partnership with the main gas manufacturers in order to provide a full gas conversion program to all types of refrigeration equipment. Refrigeration equipment plant type to include direct expansion systems, them syphon cooling, high and low temperature pump circulation systems, high and low temperature LPR systems. In accordance with EU regulations, only recycled R22 can be used until After which point all equipment will need a retrofit in order to use an alternative gas. Brooktherm will perform a full site survey in order to provide impartial advice and assistance based on your specific requirements. In most instances where the system is reliable and in good condition, conversion would be the most cost effective option to replacement or renewal of existing equipment. R22 Gas Conversion

Health & Safety In accordance with current Health and Safety regulations our engineers are encouraged to contribute actively towards achieving a work environment that is free of accidents and safe. Our companies health & safety policy is reviewed annually by our Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to monitor its effectiveness and ensure that it reflects changing needs and circumstances to our clients. Our company provide continuous training for our engineering staff in order to ensure that they have the necessary skill set to carry out their engineering tasks at our clients sites in a safe and orderly manner.
