Today, I will: WARM-UP-Read my own book daily(notes and reading log) READING-Read aloud to build fluency (later this week) Reading/Writing Connection-Learn and apply figurative language devices (poetry) *Simile - Metaphor practices WRITING&GRAMMAR-Write a response to a journal prompt WORD STUDY- Period 1-2 discuss and apply common prefixes and suffixes Period 4-8- discuss and apply common prefixes and suffixes and vocabulary unit 9 words (words meaning together)
