Adverbs tell you… HOW WHERE WHY TO WHAT EXTENT
Some adverbs tell you how. These adverbs usually end in -ly. How well does Stuart play the ukulele? Stuart plays the ukulele beautifully. Verb
Some adverbs tell you when. When will the minions arrive? The minions will arrive soon. Verb
Some adverbs tell you where. Where do the minions live? The minions live downstairs in the lab. Verb
Some adverbs tell you to what extent. How clearly was Start thinking? Stuart was so memorized with the bananas that he was not thinking clearly. Verb
