AUP In general, students should only use technology with a teacher or administrator’s permission. During school hours they should only use technology, whether the Board’s or their own personal technology, for school-related purposes. Students should not expect that their files, communications, or Internet use while using Board-owned technology, are private. Students shall not use Technology to compromise the personal privacy, reputation, identity, or safety of themselves or others. Students shall not use Technology for improper, antisocial, unethical, or illegal activity

AUP Students shall not tamper, disable, damage, disrupt, or install Students shall not invade, trespass, spy, falsify, cheat, waste, or use technology resources for personal purposes . Disciplinary actions for violating the AUP will be commensurate with those outlined in the Shelby County Board of Education Student Code of Conduct and Attendance. In certain cases, financial penalties may apply.

Harrassment/Bullying Harassment is defined as a continuous pattern of intentional behavior, and includes (but is not limited to) written, electronic, verbal, or physical acts that are reasonably perceived to be threatening by the student-victim. CAHS has “0” Tolerance Policy

Cell Phone Usage BYOD Policy With classroom teacher’s permission and for instructional purposes only. If student violates policy, device will be taken up and will be returned when a parent can come to pick up the device. Teachers will not allow student to charge their phones in class. The library will offer a charging station for a small fee.

Parking General rules for using school parking lot: A parking form must be signed by each student and by parent/guardian agreeing to rules and random drug testing A parking hang tag must be purchased Students must park in designated parking space Once arriving, students must park and immediately enter building

Parking Students may not return to car without admin escort Students are expected to drive safely. Violation of safety or traffic rules could result in temporary or permanent loss of driving privileges. Students may not park at the public park or library and walk to school

Code of Conduct Items returned to Mr. Sims: 1. Master List of students who receive orientation in your class with the student signature next to their printed name. 2. List of students who have not returned the acknowledgment form. 3. All acknowledgment forms signed by both the parent and students.
