Presentation transcript:

Building a Healthy Community Game Goal: to build components of a healthy community as quickly as possible (using plastic blocks) Again, our purpose with this game was to allow staff to apply QI principles in a hands on way and within a public health context. And yes, to have fun.

Rules of the Game Teams will have 2 Healthy Community Builders, 1 Time Keeper, 1 Building Inspector, and 1 Change Agent Each team will be responsible for assembling two components of a healthy community: a community garden, and a fresh produce truck. Using plastic blocks, assemble the two sets accurately and in the shortest amount of time possible Repeat for rounds 2, 3, and 4 Record your time for each cycle

Roles of the Game Healthy Community Builders will build the two components Building Inspector will compare the assembled blocks to the plans (photos) to ensure they are accurate and complete Time Keeper will keep track of time and will record the time for each round Change Agent will implement changes in between each cycle. Have fun!!!
