Lesson Objectives Lesson Outcomes To understand how to create hyperlinks Lesson Outcomes All students will link their pages together Some students will create external links

Hyperlinks Hyperlinks are used to allow users to navigate your website. They might be A button to a page A text link to a website A picture link to enlarge the image etc

On Dreamweaver Click on the object you want to link. If it is text you need to highlight it In the properties bar at the bottom you will see a section called “link”

Next to the link section there are 2 icons Next to the link section there are 2 icons. The one on the right looks like a folder. Click this, and then select the file you want it to link to. When linking you website together it should say the name of the page you want to link

External links If you want to link an image or text to a website which is already on the internet you need to enter the web address in the link section

Completing your website By the end of the lesson you need to have a hyperlinked website with content on all 3 pages!
