Transit Operator (Driver) Opportunities Conventional Operators Standard size buses High volume routes Full-time regular Class 5; must be able to obtain Class 2 Commercial Learners Licence with air brakes No more than 1 violation (3 points) in last 3 years and no suspensions/prohibitions in last 5. No more than 1 at-fault accident in past 3 years Must be willing to work shifts Subject to Driving evaluation, References, Criminal record check and Medical 6 weeks paid training Community Shuttle Operators Smaller shuttle buses (24 passenger) Lower volume routes Casual employment to start, but can move to PTR or FTR Class 5; must be able to obtain Class 4 unrestricted Commercial Learners Licence Subject to Driving evaluation, references, Criminal Record check and medical 2 weeks paid training
