Nutrition Education Assistant Oklahoma County The position is located in Oklahoma City, OK and is part of the Community Nutrition Education Program (CNEP) Oklahoma Unit. This position is 100% funded using a combination of federal and grant dollars. Teaches basic nutrition, food safety, food budgeting, and physical activity to individuals and/or groups of low-income adults or youth eligible to receive SNAP benefits. Provides community outreach to agencies and organizations in targeted areas to motivate participants to develop healthier eating habits for their families. Salary: $10.00 – 10.50 hourly Requires travel within assigned county, district, and state. Occasional overnight travel. Travel budget provided. Required: High School/GED 1 year of work experience.
