SECTOR/JINDEX Feasibility Study 11/26/2018 SECTOR/JINDEX Feasibility Study WASPC Meeting November 13, 2018

About the Project SECTOR/JINDEX is the automated system that enables law enforcement agencies to electronically create tickets, collision reports and other forms in the field and then send them electronically to the appropriate agencies for processing. The current system has reached its capacity, and the Washington Traffic Record Coordination Committee, a multi-agency subcommittee formed to address the technology needs of the users and consumers of Sector data, is asking for your input into a potential replacement for Sector. While a request for a replacement will most likely not happen until the 2021-2023 biennium, a feasibility study is currently underway to assess the needs of Sector users and visioning sessions are being scheduled across the state to get input, hear from users and help identify a new solution that will meet the needs of everyone for years to come.
