Society Aims To take ownership of, restore and maintain at least one representative of the Pacer family of railbuses (this incorporating Classes 142, 143 and 144) To provide a suitable place for restoration and eventual display of the railbus(es). Establish and maintain a collection of Pacer-related documents and artefacts, as both a historical record and as an archive for enthusiasts and preservationists. Society Membership Annual membership: £10 Society magazine The Pacer Chaser every 6 months Free access to the societys online Pacer Archive, which contains many railbus related documents, drawings and manuals. The Archive lists are available for all to view but downloads are password protected. Regular meetings in January and July Bulletins every 2 months, keeping members up-to-date with the latest news on all the Leyland railbuses. Society Projects – s Cab Front Arrival: Wednesday 22 nd August

Society Aims – Spares During the TRA 2011 Convention: The floor offered encouragement to the group, a recommendation to research the Pacers that still had various original features fitted & a warning to gather spare parts whilst they were still available and/or plentiful. Society Response: s cab front acquired Spares being acquired as availability arises Box van/GUV/CCT being investigated to be used as a stores & workshop vehicle for the society. Discussions opened with Porterbrook and Angel Trains Pacer Archive set up

Operate and maintain at least one railbus on a preserved heritage line
