CAC / Roadside information SLR 65 Black Series CAC / Roadside information

CAC / Roadside information (S.O.P) Should the car need transportation (towing), ground clearance will be a concern. Ensure transportation personnel are aware of this! SL65 Black Series is not equipped with a spare tire. SL65 Black Series is equipped with TIREFIT and air compressor. Jump starting will require access to the battery.

CAC / Roadside information (engine access) 1st locate the hood release located near the emergency brake pedal (drivers foot well). Once located pull gently toward you until you see the hood move slightly up.

CAC / Roadside information (Hood safety latch location, pull) Once the interior hood release latch has been pulled walk to the front of the car. Locate the secondary hood latch release knob at the base of the Mercedes-Benz star pull forward on the latch while lifting the hood.

CAC / Roadside information (Tires / Jack) CAUTION! This vehicle is NOT equipped with a spare tire. It is quipped with TIREFIT and a body jack. Should vehicle body need to be lifted use extreme caution due to limited body/ground clearance. Rubber lift points are in same location as the R230 body TIREFIT, Air Compressor, Jack, and safety supplies are found in the provided kit located in the trunk Jack will also be found In the tool kit. Lift points

CAC / Roadside information - Rear Wing Should the battery be changed it will be necessary to reset the rear wing for proper operation. Please perform the following; 1) Ignition on (position 2 for 15R) 2) Press the rear wing button for 10 seconds 3) After this time the LED in the button (rear wing) will come on. Reset is now complete. Cycle key and test rear wing operation.

CAC / Roadside information - Fuse locations Fuse card show incorrect locations! This file will be updated. Fuses 1-27 are located in the passenger foot well (panel removed) Fuses 28-49 on drivers side engine Compartment (near drivers hood hinge)

CAC / Roadside information - Fuse locations Fuses 50-77 are locate behind the passenger seat under the compartment access panel. F33 in located in the trunk near the battery.
