Welcome to Public Speaking! Find your name and number on the seating list and sit at that number. Once you have found your seat, grab a purple information sheet (yes, I know it says English…just answer those questions based on how you feel about speech) and begin filling it out with your information.

Public Speaking Agenda Learning Target – I can clearly communicate my thoughts through journal writing. Learning Target – I can practice simple listening and speaking skills while conducting student interviews.

Public Speaking Journal 1 August 6th, 2015 Some people enjoy public speaking while others are frightened by it. Using specific details and examples, explain how you feel about public speaking. (Write in complete sentences. 75 words minimum. Write your word count at the end of your paragraph and circle.)

Student Interviews Head your own sheet of paper, with the MLA Heading titled Interview 1. Write answers to each question about another person. Make sure to write his/her FULL NAME FIRST before beginning the questions.
