The first two days in the Week of Millenniums are the Prehistory of Israel.

The next 2,000 years see the Rise and Fall of Israel.

1,000 years from Abraham to Solomon

1,000 years from a divided kingdom to Israel’s rejection of her Messiah.

Matthew 1:1-6 1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. 2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren; 3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram; 4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon; 5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse; 6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias; The timeframe of the THIRD millennial day – Abraham to Solomon – fits in verses 1-6 of the “book of the generation of Jesus Christ.”

Verses 7-16 match the FOURTH DAY: Roboam to Christ 7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa; 8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias; 9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias; 10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias; 11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon: 12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel; 13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor; 14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud; 15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob; 16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

The Third Millennial Day ABRAHAM TO SOLOMON (1970 BC to 970 BC)

Abraham Isaac Jacob Abraham was 75 years old when God called him. 25 years later, his son Isaac was born. Isaac was 60 when his sons Jacob and Esau were born. Jacob was 130 when his son Joseph called him to Egypt.

Joseph brought the tribes of Israel into Egypt, and Moses led them out.

From Abraham’s call to Jacob’s entry into Egypt was 215 years.

The Jews were in Egypt for another 215 years.

From the call of Abraham to the Exodus, God’s people were without a home for 430 years (215 + 215).

Exodus 12:40-41 40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel… was four hundred and thirty years. 41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

This is also the timespan from God’s covenant with Abraham to the giving of the Law to Moses:

Galatians 3:16a, 17 16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made . . . 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

Day 3: Abraham to Solomon After the forty years in the wilderness were over, Joshua led the Israelites across the Jordan River and into the Promised Land.

Day 3: Abraham to Solomon From Moses to Samuel, the era of the Judges lasted about 450 years.

Day 3: Abraham to Solomon Acts 13:20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.

Day 3: Abraham to Solomon Moses was the first judge of Israel. Acts 7:35 This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

Saul was the first king. David united the kingdom. Solomon built the House of God.

Construction began on Solomon’s temple 480 years after the Exodus.

1 Kings 6:1 And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the LORD.

From a childless old man to a great nation – all this happened in less than 1,000 years.

The Covenants of Day Three

The covenants God made with Adam and Noah were inclusive to all mankind.

The covenants God made with Adam and Noah were inclusive to all mankind. But starting in Day THREE, God’s covenants were exclusive to a particular people – his CHOSEN people.

God’s Covenant With Abraham Genesis 12:1-3 1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Abraham received great promises from God even before he began his journey.

A great nation A great name A great blessing GOD PROMISED TO MAKE OF ABRAHAM:

God’s Covenant With Abraham Genesis 17:3-6 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. God’s Covenant With Abraham Twenty-five years later, God was even more emphatic: Abraham would father many nations and kings.

God’s Covenant With Abraham Genesis 17:7-8 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. God gave Abraham the unconditional promise of an everlasting SEED and LAND:

God’s Covenant With Abraham Genesis 17:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. This covenant was established with Abraham through Sarah’s yet unborn son, Isaac:

God’s Covenant With Abraham Genesis 35:10-12 10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel. 11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins; 12 And the land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the land. These promises were confirmed to Abraham’s grandson, Jacob, the patriarch of the twelve tribes of Israel.

God’s Covenant With Abraham Exodus 3:6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. The Almighty God now attached himself to a particular people. He called himself “the God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob.”

God’s Covenant With Abraham Deuteronomy 9:27 Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin: This covenant was the bedrock of the relationship between God and the tribes of Israel.

The Covenant of the Law of Moses Exodus 19:5-6 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. 430 years after God’s covenant with Abraham, he made a covenant with Moses and the tribes of Israel:

The Covenant of the Law of Moses Exodus 19:5-6 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. This covenant concerned Israel’s well-being in this present world. The promises were CONDITIONAL based upon their obedience:

The Covenant of the Law of Moses Deuteronomy 11:27-28 27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: 28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known. The tribes of Israel were God’s chosen people regardless of whether they kept the Law. The Law taught them the works that accompany righteous living and a proper relationship with God.

God’s Covenant With David This covenant was established through David’s son, Solomon: 1 Kings 2:45 And king Solomon shall be blessed, and the throne of David shall be established before the LORD for ever.

The high point in the RISE of Israel was the dedication of the House of God built by Solomon.

2 Chronicles 7:1-3 1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD'S house. 3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

But it was the sins of this same man that led to the nation’s decline.
