Technology Department By: Mike, Alex, Nick, Daniel

Computers The school has over 700 computers including laptops Over 2000 users Over 250 pieces of software About 100 printers School is getting office 10 and windows 7 over the summer School is getting school wide wifi Labs are always booked It takes 10 years for a computer to leave the building

Data Projectors They bring sights, sounds, and 3D teaching Teachers can use internet in lessons Projectors are a better teaching tool than an overhead because of its multiple purposes

Students They want feedback from students on their decisions They are going to loosen Websense Cell phone and internet policy will be changed but teachers want to be able to teach students and not have them distracted

Budget They spend the budget on new computers They buy new programs or new updates They have a 2 person staff at Memorial and 20 district wide The school is not looking into using solar power They would not want a smaller staff
