Self-evaluation Things to consider: What actions have you taken so far? What impact have those actions had on improving the quality of RE in terms of provision, teaching and learning and outcomes? What evidence is there to show the impact? What next steps need to be taken?

Action planning Things to consider: Where are you now and where do you want to be – what is the end goal? Be realistic in your target setting What is going to make the biggest difference to pupils’ learning experiences in the subject and raise standards for all pupils? What is going to improve the quality of your leadership and management? What is going to improve the quality of teaching and learning? What is going to improve outcomes for pupils? What CPD is needed to ensure effective school improvement? What monitoring and evaluation needs to take place and how often?
