The Dion Bouton automobile company, worlds largest automobile factory, was formed in Paris in 1883 and became well-known for their quality, reliability and durability.

The company soon began producing engines and licenses for other makes. About 150 were asking them. Were talking about Bugatti, Chenard et Walcker, Delage, Latil, Peugeot, Renault, Terrot, Adler, Hansa, Humber, Isotta-Franschini, Pierce-Arrow, Sunbeam and Rolls Royce.

T-Ford claimed to have produced some million cars over 11 years while Dion Bouton already had a mass production in the early days compared to them. Dion Bouton lost their place on the market during the crisis years because the cars turned out too expensive.
