Mining

Mining is the extraction of valuable minerals or other geological materials from the earth from an orebody, lode, vein, seam, or reef, which forms the mineralized package of economic interest to the miner.

Mining as a science, deals with: surveying, mining and mining maps, mining robots, drilling technology workings and operation of various types of minerals way: open-pit, subterranean and borehole ventilation of mines, construction machinery and mining equipment, energy supply, mine transport, drainage, mining dangers: water, climate, radiative, roof-collapse, landslide, shocks, outbursts of gas and rocks, communication systems and monitoring, impact of mining on the environment, extraction of minerals, mechanical alteration minerals, storage of mineral and gangue, work safety, geological and mining law, organization and management of the mining process mining operators. Many of the technologies and methods developed in the mining industry were used in other industries, such as: the pursuit of tunnels, passages and underground storage, deep excavations, etc.

The drive motor coupled to a gear train through a torque converter drives the star drive, which involves the conveyor chain with the dredged material. To drive motors are used with high starting torque (refractory). Components and assemblies used conveyors are unified so that they are interchangeable. This allows the arrangement of spare parts and facilitates the training of operating personnel.

In the tradition of mining Miners Day begins the morning ceremony in the church with the figure of St. Barbara. Then the miners band marching playing..
