About the HEA The Higher Education Academy (HEA) is the UK based international body which champions teaching quality.  We focus on the contribution of teaching as part of the wider student learning experience. Formed in 2004 to build on work previously carried out by Institute for Teaching and Learning in HE with a mission to continuously improve HE teaching quality. 27/11/2018
