Set Alerts on Fields in AX Right click on the field you want to monitor for new records, changes, or deletions. Select Create alert rule Set parameters

Set Filter as a Favorite Create a filter and save as a named filter Add non-filtered form to Favorites Right click on Favorites and select Organize Favorites Select the Favorite you just created Select Edit query at the bottom of the screen Select filter you just created as your new favorite

Drain Users from the AOS

Drain Users from the AOS System administration > Common > Users > Online users Server instances tab Select Reject new clients

Drain Users from the AOS This will give users a message after 5 minutes to finish their work. Once idle for 2 minutes, users will be forced off the AOS. No new connections can be made while this is enabled. When user count shows 0, work can be performed on the AOS. Restart AOS or select Accept new clients to allow users back in AX.

Log in as a different user

Log in as a different user Right click while holding shift on the AX icon. Select Run as different user. Log in with other user credentials.

Date shortcuts If it’s January 24, 2017, you can enter the date this many ways in AX: 01/24/2017 1/24/2017 01/24/17 1/24/17 01242017 012417 0124 24 (works only for the current month, AX doesn't do Julian dates. This will work in every month!) Word of caution: if I enter 124, AX will populate 12/4/2017 into the field.
