NC GEM Reports Major Goodman

Gem families are not designed to be replacements for FR1064 or LH287. They originate from breeding crosses that greatly under-perform better commercial hybrids. They do represent an array of good, totally new germplasm.

Some perform remarkably well, but their interactions with environments are likely to be far greater than most highly-selected lines.
