When and Where? The Berlin Disco Bombing happened at La Belle discothèque in West Berlin, Germany in 1986.

See what happened was… On April 5, 1986, there was a bombing terrorist attack on the La Belle discothèque in West Berlin, Germany. The La Belle Club was a place that was frequently accommodated by American soldiers. There was a bomb placed under the DJ’s booth and it was said to have exploded at 1:45 A.M.

Who did this?!?!? Libya was blamed for the bombing after telex messages had been intercepted from Libya to the Libyan East Berlin embassy Libyan spies,  Musbah Abdulghasem Eter, Mohammed Chreidi, Ali Chanaa, and Verena Chanaa, were convicted of murder.

Did anyone die?! Only three people were left DEAD. Nermin Hannay Kenneth T. Ford James E. Goins

Anyone else? Sadly, 230 people were INJURED from this unexpected attack. Also, lots of people were left COMPLETELY disabled

Hang them by their toes! Meagerly sentenced to 12-14 years in prison Libya paid a total of $35 million in compensation Also paid $1.5 million to a relief fund for the families of the victims

And we did what???.. President Ronald Reagan retaliated by ordering airstrikes against the Libyan capital of Tripoli and city of Benghazi
