Dynamic Electricity

What is dynamic electricity? Dynamic Electricity: This refers to electrical charges that are in motion.

Describe the pressure and flow of each situation Low flow, low pressure

For these situations, you just interpreted the pressure and flow of water from different situations. You can do this with electricity as well (sort of).

How could you measure the “flow” of this situation? Measure how much water comes out over a specific amount of time.

How could you measure the “flow” of this situation? Moving electrons create electric current. Current Intensity (I) is the number of charges that flow past a point in a circuit in a second. It is measured in ________.

How can you determine the “pressure” that electrons are under? The potential difference (V) is the ”pressure” that electrons are under. More specifically, it’s the amount of energy per unit of charge, or the amount of energy transferred between two points in an electric circuit. This is also called ______________. A circuit needs 3 things: A power supply (usually a battery). Something that uses electrical energy (ex: a lightbulb) A closed loop of wire (made from a material that conducts electricity)
