Requirements for Lab Report Names, Date, and Title (include in TOC) Purpose Statement Prelab Questions- write just answers in intelligent sentences. Summarize Procedure- does not have to be word for word Data Table – design it and put in lab book! Graph Post Lab Questions -write just answers in intelligent sentences.

Prelab Questions If you could design a leaf that would photosynthesize supper fast, what characteristics would it have? Describe this leaf to me and tell me why you chose these characteristics. Which Ivy do you predict will photosynthesize faster? Explain. A rate measures how a quantity changes over time. Give an example of something else you could measure the rate of, include the unit you would use.

Post Lab Answers Calculate the winner’s rate of photosynthesis by completing the calculation below: 5 disks up/ ___min = ____ disks/ min Discuss your results with 3 other lab groups. How many did you agree with? Disagree with? Suggest at least one reason why your results may have been different. If the results were not as you predicted, suggest at least one reason to explain the results. List two possible places of error in this experiment and how you could fix them to produce more accurate data.
